Microcement Course in London Overview
The microcement course in London will not only demonstrate, but also teach you how microcement is applied on walls and floors. Our micro cement (also called microcemento, beton cire or micro screed) is a durable coating system that can create a contemporary design on walls and floors.
On completion of the course you will be able to apply microcement finishes in bathrooms, on walls and ceilings with various effects – from smooth polished concrete to lightly or heavily textured. You will also be familiar with the colouring, maintenance and issues of microcement and how to enhance the protection.
Our trademarked microcement course will enable you to quickly progress from one completed layer to another as each stage will already be prepared for you! This course takes only a few hours as microcement is a technical system and you will only need to familiarise yourself with the proportions of the mixing, the steps and timing. Please be aware that we don’t teach trowelling skills or how plastering works.
All courses come complete with complimentary lunch each day at a local Italian restaurant that serves home made English and Italian dishes.
If you’re interested about our products and would like to see the specifications or buy some of our micro cement, please visit this page.
Why you should attend our Microcement Course
We can recommend this course to anybody who knows how to use a trowel and a roller, but we strongly recommend Venetian plastering, rendering or plastering experience so they understand how one coat affects the other. In simple terms, you should be confident with a trowel and understand how plaster coatings work.
There are no entry requirements for our micro cement course, anybody can attend. On the other hand, you should be familiar with using a trowel and plasters.
Once you complete our microcement training you will receive the following
- A sample board featuring the complete system
- Manual and technical sheet
You will also be eligible for a trained applicator’s discount.

A: We’ve started to supply wall and floor finishes in 2010 and since the very beginning offer flooring products like resins or micro screed on demand, but were never quite happy with the quality and the price / value ratio of the products. We were looking for the right durability, ease of application and the right look from a supplier with the right guarantees and capacity and in 2017 we’ve found it!
Our trademarked method is based on the demand, market requirements and the knowledge of our technicians who have applied thousands of square metres of microcement. Also, our method goes through ALL the steps and not just the decorative coating application, to ensure that you will leave with a complete, 360 degree knowledge and will be able to do any project of any size.
Q: Is there parking available onsite?
A: Yes, there is local free parking in the area and reserved parking behind our showroom.
Q: What’s the closest station and how can I get to you?
A: The closest stations are Golders Green and East Finchley on the Northern Line and you can take the bus 102 from either to get to us. We’re only a few metres from ‘The Market Place’ bus stop.
Q: Do you teach micro cement application on walls?
A: No, currently we don’t as the number of coats and their drying time wouldn’t allow us to offer it as a short and affordable course. If you already know how to handle a trowel once you’re familiar with the system you will be able to create micro cement finishes on any surface (floors, walls and ceilings), but in case you need more information we would be happy to help you and we will be only a call away!
Q: Do you offer on-site microcement courses?
A: Yes, we can do that, please contact our sales team at 0333 012 4396 for further details.
