A: Perlaceo is an effect only and should not be applied in wet rooms without special protectors. Please contact our sales team for more information.

Q: Can you put these products over tiles?
A: Before applying these products you should ensure that the substrate is a firm, true surface without movement. A flexible coating with mesh should be applied on top of tiles, followed by a stronger key coat before any smooth, polished Italian plaster or metallic finish application can start.

A: No, it shouldn’t be.

Q: How durable is Perlaceo?
A: Perlaceo has no enhanced protective features and should always be protected when the project requires it. On the other hand, this product is quite easy to repair.

A: As it’s a transparent effect colour accuracy is not really relevant. Colour repeatability is great, with a deviation of less than 1 DeltaE.

A: It acts as an effect only and is eventually affected by the quality and colour resistance of the substrate.

Q: Do I really need a primer? Is PVA suitable as a primer?
A: No primer should be applied before Perlaceo.

A: This effect can be easily covered after light sanding and priming.

A: Depending on the final effect, you might. Simple, single colour effects are easy-to-do and don’t need specialists.
