Ireland 3 Day Venetian Plastering and Micro Cement Course overview

To book a space for our Venetian Plastering and Microcement Course, please call directly our Master Applicator Darren Quinn at 07886533179.

Impera Italia is pleased to offer a  3-day Venetian plastering and micro cement course on a Saturday, Sunday and Monday organised in Ireland, featuring a variety of Italian plasters and paints on walls, corners and large sample boards. Now including Microcement training, so that you can achieve a waterproof, polished concrete finish on walls, floors and even worktops!

Our Venetian Plastering trademarked training system concentrates on the nature of the materials and the traditions and modern aspects of the application and was not made to accommodate the application or materials of a single manufacturer.  Our focus is on the applicator and his knowledge and not on the make of the plaster.

This Venetian Plastering course will not only explain the importance but also demonstrate the application of various Venetian plaster base coats, the differences between acrylic and lime-based polished plaster, protectors and colour washes which can enrich and protect the finishes.

Our courses cover traditional and modern Italian and British marble plaster application methods and effects but concentrate on certain aspects – making sure that the finishes are not only beautiful but can meet the current market demand.

You will leave with:

  • the necessary knowledge to create a wide range of contemporary and traditional Italian finishes, from high-gloss to textured stone, utilising a variety of Italian plasters.
  •  the application of various base coats, protectors and colour washes
  • a number of demonstrations, technical advice and future
  • samples, raw materials from 5 different Italian manufacturers, catalogues

How much can you charge after you complete the course

Generally, a 10 msq feature wall starts from 300 euros or pounds up to 1200. Larger areas are charged between 65 and 120 per metre square (9 square feet) in local currency.

Where is the Venetian plastering course held

The course will take place at 20 Station Road, Castlewellan, BT31 9NF at a 150 square metre, purpose-built industrial unit, only 1 hour 40 minutes drive from Dublin, 40 minutes from Belfast.  A number of local hotels and B&Bs are also available if you’d like to stay for Saturday night.

Please don’t hesitate to call our friendly team at UK: 03330124396 IE: 00353766803532 or send a message to [email protected]
