Venetian Plastering Course Overview

Our Venetian plastering course in London will demonstrate and teach the most popular Venetian Plaster finishes (also known as marble plastering or polished plastering) used in the British decorating industry.  We firmly believe that by understanding these fundamental applications you can easily complete 90% of projects.

At Impera Italia we believe less is more. We highly concentrate on-demand applications to pass value to our students.

In this course, you will learn how to create a smooth Marmorino, textured (pitted and dragged) Travertino, and smooth polished plaster (stucco lustro, stucco lucido, stucco Veneziano) finish on walls and ceilings.

However, our Master applicator will be able to explain or demonstrate any other requested wall finish.

Our courses are run on walls or on boards depending on selected finishes.

The Venetian Plastering course is led by a Master applicator trained in Italy, with many years and thousands of square meters of experience, who will not only answer all your questions but also make sure you will leave with the skills to create stunning feature walls and ceilings!

Our Venetian Plastering courses come complete with complementary lunch each day at a local Italian restaurant that serves homemade English and Italian dishes.

If you book this course, you’re also eligible for a 15% discount on our Venetian plaster starter pack (lots of plasters and tools included) on the course days, when bought in person.

Our Venetian Plastering trademarked training system concentrates on the nature of the materials and the traditions and modern aspects of the application and was not made to accommodate the application or materials of a single manufacturer.  Our focus is on the applicator and his knowledge and not on the make of the plaster.

This Venetian Plastering course will not only explain the importance but also demonstrate the application of various Venetian plaster base coats, the differences between acrylic and lime-based polished plaster, protectors, and colour washes which can enrich and protect the finishes

ALL of our courses cover traditional and modern Italian and British marble plaster application methods and effects but concentrate on certain aspects – making sure that the finishes are not only beautiful but can meet the current market demand.
