Decorfilm is a protective coating designed to be applied over plasters and paints. The water-based protector, thanks to the urethane acrylic component, creates a clear, fast-drying coat that will stand the test of time, without turning yellow or cracking. 

Decorfilm can be used both on interior and exterior projects. Although Decorfilm is one of the most advanced protectors on the market, it is still important to know that applying in on top of any decorative coating, will cause at least a minimum level of colour shifting. Decorfilm has also been created with different styles in mind, allowing for the selection of a matt, or gloss finish.

Specifications

Coverage:

  • 1L per 12sqm, per coat. Coverage highly depends on the absorption of the substrate.

Number of coats:

  • 1-2 coats. The number of coats strongly depends on the level of protection desired, as well as the type of substrate

Dilution:

  • 5-30% with water. Again, the amount of dilution highly depends on the substrate. If the substrate is highly absorbent, dilute by around 30%.

Tools:

  • Foam Roller.

Storage:

  • Between +5C and +35C for up to 2 years.
