Discover the easy application of our traditional lime paint, Lime Eco! Dilute it according to preference, and create various finishes with the small sample pot. 

Lime Eco is a traditional lime paint, suitable to be applied as an alternative to emulsion paint or diluted, it can also be applied as lime wash on walls and various surfaces.  

For the most accurate look at the colour selection, we recommend ordering this sample pot or a colour chart.

Specifications

Coverage:

  • 250ml per 2sqm.

Number of coats:

  • 2+ coats.

Dilution:

  • Can vary highly, if you wish to achieve a 2-tone finish, we recommend diluting the first coat only around 10% and doing a much higher dilution on the second coat, of around 40%.
  • For a standard application we recommend diluting the first coat around 30% and the second coat around 15%.

Tools:

  • Large rectangular block brush for standard application.
  • For colour washes, we recommend taking a look at the various decorative sponges we have available.

Storage:

  • Between +5C and +35C for up to 2 years.

  • Due to the high lime content in this paint, it is essential to stir it before applying, followed by stirring it subsequently every 10 mins or so.
  • Although we have tried extremely hard to ensure that the colours for our paints are displayed as accurately as possible, there is always going to be a level of discrepancy to the colour experienced once applied in your project. This can be down to multiple factors, such as the quality and brightness of the screen on which you have selected the colour, as well as the lighting in the room where these will eventually be applied. For this reason, we STRONGLY advise that you purchase a colour chart or sample pot of the desired colour to test it in your environment before ordering a larger quantity. Especially as we cannot accept returns for most colours.
  • Please note that lime-based paints such as Lime Eco appear a lot darker before they dry. It is important that you apply at least 2 coats, and allow it to dry before confirming the desired colour.
