Black Wax for Venetian Plaster
This black wax is the ideal product to protect and give a deeper glossy finish to interior walls that have been decorated with any black or very dark Venetian plaster, from polished Venetian to Marmorino and Travertino decorative plasters. Black Wax is also suitable for our microcement wall systems.
As with most other waxes, this product should also be applied by our polishing cloth and afterward buffed with our lambswool bonnet.
Impera Italia’s Advice™
Although this wax creates a film it can not make a surface waterproof and can only be a part of a protective system for wet rooms, shower cubicles, or steam rooms. Make sure to test it and spread it so you don’t use it too much.
Trivia
One of the deepest blacks (yes, there are many shades of black!) is Vantablack®, which is an extremely black coating that absorbs around 99.9% of light.
