Our Colour Match Service
We’re pleased to provide this unique colour match service if you need your Italian Venetian plaster, polished plaster, paint or micro cement in the colour specified by you, your designer, architect or client. To match the colour we will scan the selected colour and then produce a number of close physical matches, apply them and finally refine them so we can select the best possible final match!
How Does Our Colour Match Work?
You only need to add this service to your basket and add the colour code and the system (eg. RAL 9001, Farrow and Ball Estate Eggshell) and the type of the paint or plaster (eg. Marmorino, Gimcyn, etc.) as a note to your order. Once the match is accepted (meaning the match is possible with the selected paint or plaster) it takes us 5 days to produce the match and one more day to send you the sample board.
Please don’t forget to select the right category (paint, plaster or microcement and colour depth) when you add this product the the basket. In case there’s a conflict between your request and a selected category, the match is not possible or the colour is extremely difficult to match we will notify you in writing within 3 working days. In this case we will provide you with other options or refund the cost of the service.
What Will You See On Your Sample Board?
The sample board featuring the colour match will show the Italian paint, Venetian plaster or microcement on 2 or 1 coat (depending on the finish), unprotected (meaning no waxes, resins or other protectors, no waterproofing system), on top of the correct primer. Our samples can act as a theme guide, but due to the artistic nature of our finishes differences between patterns and colours (due to -but not limited to- techniques and/or compression) on large areas might occur! Also, please be aware that you might need to find a specialist to apply the colour matched special finish, please see the difficulty levels on the selected product’s page. What Does This Service Include?
This article is for the service only, materials excluded. The match includes a small sample board (30×40) only, shipped to you after the match is done and the sample is dry. The formula for the colour match will be stored internally and not revealed to any other customer without your consent.
Trivia
Metallic paints’, plasters’ and microcement’s colours are technically extremely difficult to match, due to the grain and/or iridescence and/or glossiness. Colour matches always need to be manually refined and be applied with special methods; the cost reflects the difficulty, effort and expertise.
