Applying your sample kit:

Our recommendation for presenting the samples to clients is:

- Apply your Allover Base in 2 coats on one MDF board to showcase how a textured finish would be presented.

- On the opposite side, or on a separate board, apply 2 coats of the Allover Finish to showcase a smooth finish to your client.

- Once both finishes are completed and dried. Apply 2 coats of the sealer to each one, allowing some time for the first coats to dry. This will present the client with the correct sheen level to expect of their finished project.

- Finally, label your samples. We recommend including: Name of product, name of material (Base or Finish), colour used, & finally, the sealer that was used. These 2 samples are now ready to be shown to the client. Based on the feedback, you will know which Allover System to order for the full project! Including, the right type of kit (Depending on a smooth or textured finish) as well as the correct colour and sealer.

Primer - Allover does not actually require a primer! We recommend to prepare your sample on MDF as these are light and easy to transport to show clients.

Allover Base - This textured plaster is designed to work as the main basecoat for the Allover System, but can be coloured, and is durable enough to function as the main finish.

Allover Finish - This smooth plaster is the intended finishing plaster for the Allover System. It is coloured, just like the Basecoat, but provides a refined, smoother finish.

Allover Top - This mono-component sealer, is prepared by simply stirring it. Water can be further added to this if desired, then 2 coats are applied. Unlike the Continuo System (for those familiar) there is NO Continuo Link required with the Allover system, regardless of whether Allover Top, or Continuo Top is used.

The Allover system should only be applied by applicators that have prior experience with these types of coating systems. There are multiple layers to be applied, therefore, a good understanding of the system is important.

We strongly advise that you contact us prior to ordering this product if you have any doubts or concerns about an upcoming project.

Although our Microcement is a strong, and durable system, it carries with it certain limitations. We discourage from applying this material in areas that are likely to be prone to heavy staining such as hair salons, or coffee bars. We also do not recommend this product for use in commercial flooring environments as heavy foot traffic will accelerate the degradation of the product.
