Our Decorfond primer has been tested for fantastic adhesion to all sorts of different porous substrates. This primer offers excellent spreadability, as well as uniform coverage, creating the perfect foundation for the eventual application of our decorative paints and smooth plasters. Decorfond will create a strong bond with the surface that will ensure your finish is long-lasting.

If you are looking to apply a textured or rough plaster, please check out our Unifix or Marcotherm primer instead.

Specifications

Coverage:

  • 1L per 10sqm.

Dilution:

  • 30% recommended.

  • Mohair / Short pile roller.

Storage:

  • Between +5C and +35C for up to 2 years.

Disclaimers

  • Although the coverage of the Decorfond primer has been tested to be 1L per 10sqm, depending on the absorption level of the substrate, as well as the existing colour, it is possible that more primer could be required. When carrying out a project on a surface with high absorption, we recommend the use of Atomo in order to consolidate the surface and improve the adhesion of epic fondo, whilst reducing how much the wall absorbs it.
