Impera Glitter is an additive for decorative plasters and paints, and it's a simple way to add an opulent touch to various types of decorative materials. By adding this mica-type, natural additive, you can create different glittery, pearlescent finishes, depending on the amount you choose to add. Please make sure to start with a small amount, and gradually increase the amount, to achieve the desired amount of sparkle.

Specifications

  • Add glitter slowly to material, mix then test apply a small sample.
  • There is not clear definition of how much one 25g pot of glitter can last, as this heavily depends on taste. We find that the sweet spot per kilo of paint can be between 3 - 10g.

Disclaimers

  • Glitter should be added to materials in measure and tested, a little can go a long way. We recommend to mix it in slowly and do a small sample to check the intensity.
  • The lighting in the room can impact how the glitter reflects light. Its important to take this into account when adding glitter to materials. The 2 different glitter colours can also reflect light differently.
  • The glitter can be added not just to paints, but plasters also. We do recommend that the plaster is tested beforehand, the grit of the glitter can potentially scratch the surface on the fine polished plasters.
