Marcopolo, launched by our Italian supplier San Marco, was one of the first textured metallic paints on the market. Created for a relatively rough texture, the large grains ensure a dramatic, high-end look and modern appeal.  With its light sheen complementing the texture, it is perfectly suitable for luxury bespoke interiors.

  • Although we have tried extremely hard to ensure that the colours for our metallic paints are displayed as accurately as possible, there is always going to be a level of discrepancy to the colour experienced once applied in your project. This can be down to multiple factors, such as the quality and brightness of the screen on which you have selected the colour, as well as the lighting in the room where these will eventually be applied. For this reason, we STRONGLY advise that you purchase a colour chart before ordering a larger quantity. Especially as we cannot accept returns for most colours.

  • Please note that all our paints are prepared for each individual client order. Since our products fall under the category of bespoke goods, it means that we cannot offer a refund if the colour is not suitable. This is because we have coloured the paint to your specification. The only colours which may be returned for this paint in particular, are the BASE colours: BRONZO, ARGENTO, ALLUMINIO, ORO & RAME. This is due to these being the base colours of the paint. For this reason it is very important that you have sampled the product before ordering.

  • Regarding coverage, our paints have been tested to cover the specified surface area. If you find that you have run short, please double check your measurements.

Are your walls freshly plastered?

*ATOMO IS NOT A PRIMER, IT IS A SURFACE STABILIZER*

If you are going to apply on a surface with high absorption such as a freshly plastered wall, the primer and paint may not give you the desired coverage. Atomo will seal the surface, improving coverage and creating a stronger bond.

Do you have the correct primer?

Specialist paints such as these do not offer the same level of adhesion as emulsion paint, therefore primer is essential. Primer will help not only to ensure that the material "sticks" to the wall in the right way, but will also reset the colour of the wall making it easier to get an even, uniform finish with no patches. On top of that, the paint will "grip" the wall better, making it easier to apply.

Is durability a concern?

Although these beautiful paints are designed to last, we all know what it's like to have animals, and little greasy hands running around. This protector can be applied after the paint, in order to give it protection against minor splashes and oils, making the paint easily wipeable, whilst only shifting the colour a very minor amount (can vary for different colour shades).

*Always test the colour shifting before appling the protector on the whole wall*
