The Primer
Primer Quartz
This water-based resin is designed to be applied on surfaces with little, or no absorption undiluted. If applying on porous surfaces, please dilute 20-30% with water and apply multiple layers.
The Anticrack System
Crack prevention layer
The anticrack system is applied to prevent any movement of the substrate, from cracking the Material application. This is especially important in new builds, where foundations may still be settling in. This is non negotiable with this product and is an absolute must both for strength but also for flexibility.
The kit includes 30kg of Hard Base. 20kg of it is used for the first coat, which will cover the included 80g mesh to serve as the anticrack. A further coat is then applied after using the remaining 10kg included.
The Mesh
The Microquarz system uses 80GR mesh instead of the 168GR variant used with Microcement. This will be included as part of the kit.
The First Top Coat
Microquarz Base
In order to apply the Microquarz Fine component successfully, a layer of Microquarz Base should first be applied. This will help to further increase the overall resistance of the system. 10kg of Microquarz Base is included with this kit, and it will automatically be pre-coloured by us, to the same shade as the colour chosen in the next step for the smooth top coat.
The Coloured Plaster
Microquarz Fine
Microquarz Fine is the super smooth top coat that is applied as the final top layer of the Microquarz application. This plaster is applied in a single coat, and comes already coloured in the selected shade.
4kg of Microquarz Fine is included for the single coat that needs to be applied.
The First Sealer
Primer Finish
This primer is applied on top of the decorative plaster, before the final resin is applied. It is good to think of it as the "primer" for the resin. This will create the perfect surface for the strong, durable resin to adhere on top, making sure the finish is as protected as possible.
700g of Primer Finish are included in the 10sqm kit.
The Resin Protector
Finish W TRP Radiant
This 2 component resin makes up the final step of the Microquarz system. The resin contains a Component A and a Component B. Both components are UNIQUE to the specific sheen level required. It is not recommended to mix the component A of one variant, with the component B of the other.
The 10sqm kit comprises 1kg of Component A, and 200gr of Component B.
