Protego Component B Extra Durable, Hard Wearing Resin Sealer (Requires Protego Component A)

Regular price From £42.00

Protego is an advanced Resin Sealer for our Microcement System. Component A is the main ingredient, as it determines the final sheen of the application. This can be Matt, Satin or Gloss. The component B is generic and is the same regardless of which component A is used. This sealer is made up of an A + B component. The ratio for Mixing up Protego is: 5 parts Component A + 1 part Component B. Once these have been mixed, up to 5% water can be added to aid with spreadability if desired.

Purchasing one of our complete coating systems with this sealer will provide a significant discount over purchasing individual components. These have been made available to purchase separately for specific circumstances where only one component is needed.

  • Protego should be applied in at least 2 coats. The more coats the better. It is also recommended to do multiple thin coats, allowing adequate drying time in between, than try to do less, thicker coats.

  • Any showers or floors should not be used for 48 hours after application. Light traffic is okay for the first 5 days, but no furniture should be placed on the surface until after 5 days. The Maximum hardness is achieved after 21 days.
