Lime Eco is a natural, environmentally-friendly, mineral-based lime paint for interiors. We are excited to introduce a new range of earth-inspired colours for this in-demand material.
Leaving behind a highly breathable, matt finish which has exceptionally good humidity control. This means it can even be used inside bathrooms (not with direct water contact) due to its ability to handle moisture and steam. This is only applied if the bathroom has excellent ventilation.
If that’s not the case, with time, you may notice a subtle shift in colour, however, this is easily repairable.
The main ingredient used for the manufacturing of this ecological paint is natural lime which means that it is non-toxic and non-flammable making it a very safe choice both in terms of construction. Its natural anti-bacterial properties make it a great choice for avoiding any potential effect on human health. Lime Eco has anti-mould and anti-algae properties which make for a healthier living environment, especially for those with allergies or breathing conditions.
Even though Lime Eco can be applied on two coats, due to its natural factors, this lime paint might require extra layers of application. It is good to bear in mind that this paint can be extensively diluted in order to maximise coverage whilst maintaining colour accuracy. Lime Eco should be applied using a Block Brush.
Impera Italia’s Advice™
Please note that soon after the application Lime Eco can feel chalky to the touch over a period of a few weeks. This will gradually disappear, however, if you would prefer to avoid this, please take a look at our Impera Matt protector which will remove the chalkiness.
When applying Lime Eco, we strongly recommend wearing safety glasses. In the event that Lime Eco comes into contact with your eyes, you must act quickly. Immediately rinsing your eyes with water can help to flush out any potentially harmful substances and minimize the risk of irritation or injury. It’s essential to continue rinsing your eyes for a sufficient amount of time to ensure thorough cleansing.
