Italian Decorative Paint Course Overview

This course for Italian decorative paints will teach you how to create stunning feature walls and ceilings with metallic, iridescent, or pearly paints, from smooth and velvety to textured. Participants will also explore how to combine them to great effect. This 2-day course will teach you how to achieve or imitate the look of high-end wallpapers, Corten steel features and how to apply textured metallic paints to create stunning accent walls.

We will make sure you leave with a thorough understanding of various Venetian plaster base coats (plasters and primers), protectors (waxes, resins) and colour washes (transparent, iridescent, and pearly). In addition, our Master Venetian plasterers will make sure that you will be able to address any imperfections or difficulties on site.

The Italian Decorative Paint courses of Impera Italia come with a complimentary lunch for each day at a local Italian restaurant that serves homemade English and Italian dishes.

Just as our other courses, the Italian decorative paint training covers contemporary and traditional Italian and British application methods and effects but features certain finishes -in this case how to create metallic features and combine them with Venetian plasters- more prominently.
