Disclaimers

  • The Microquartz Classic Semi Textured Wall System should only be applied by applicators that have been trained prior to using the material. They should also have experience with these types of coating systems. There are multiple layers to be applied, and each component should be understood before it is applied.

  • Ecoresinas is aimed at spaces that require a strong, durable, yet easy to maintain coating. The strength and hardness of this material should give anyone the peace of mind that the product will hold, and look beautiful for years to come. If you have any reservations as to whether this product is right for you, please give us a call ahead of ordering the system.

  • For best results, we do not recommend combining parts of this system, with products from other brands.

  • The Matt & Satin Resin, each carry their own A & B components, these should not be mixed interchangeably.

The Primer

Primer Quartz

This water-based primer resin is designed to be applied on surfaces with little, or no absorption undiluted. If applying on porous surfaces, please dilute 20-30% with water and apply multiple layers.

2kg of Primer Quarz is included with this kit.

The Textured Coat

Microquarz Base

The Base component from the Ecoresinas company works as a slightly thick, textured plaster used for the base layer of this wall application. As no anticrack is applied on this version of the system, only 1 coat is used.

10kg of The Microquarz Base is included in this kit. This will also come pre-coloured to the same shade as the colour chosen for the Fine component in the next step.

The Coloured Plaster

Microquarz Fine

Microquarz Fine is the resistant, super smooth top coat plaster that is applied as the upper layer of this system. The texture of the previous coat of "Base" will subtly show through, creating the "semi-textured" element this kit is designed to provide.

6kg of Microquarz Fine is included with this kit.

The First Sealer

Primer Finish

This primer is applied on top of the decorative plaster, before the final resin is applied. It is good to think of it as the "primer" for the resin. This will create the perfect surface for the strong, durable resin to adhere on top, making sure the finish is as protected as possible.

700g of Primer Finish is included in the 10sqm kit.

    The Resin Protector

    Finish W TRP

    This 2 component resin makes up the final step of the Microquarz system. The resin contains a Component A and a Component B. Both components are UNIQUE to the specific sheen level required. It is not recommended to mix the component A of one variant, with the component B of the other. The W TRP Resin is designed to be used on walls, not floors. For Floor applications of Microquarz, please see the relevant product page.

    The 10sqm kit comprises 1kg of Component A, and 200gr of Component B.
