Acrylomat Plus
Acrylomat Plus is an acrylic water-based paint that can be used for indoor projects on walls and ceilings. Acrylomat Plus can be applied on at least 2 coats and will create a beautifully soft and matt finish with overlapping layers.
We recommend applying this matt paint by roller or by brush. Not only is it easy to apply, but it dries very quickly!
Please note that if you are planning to apply Acrylomat Plus on a porous background, it needs to be diluted with up to 10-15% of water.
On a dusty, chalky, you should use Atomo (to be applied before the primer). This will help consolidate the surface!
To reduce mould growth, you can consider incorporating additives such as Combat 444.
How do I apply Acrylomat Plus?
Please use a bit of paint, not more than 15 grams to create a test patch. This will ensure that you can apply the right amount in the right way and that you’ll get the right look!
Please follow the following steps when you apply for a full unit:
- Dilute Universal primer with 30% of water (0,5 l of primer with 150ml water or 1l of primer with 300mls water) and apply it with a short pile or mohair roller, but try not to leave any long, straight lines. Leave it to dry till it’s fully dry, between 4-6 hours.
- Once the primer is dry, apply the 1st coat of Acrylomat Plus using a roller, the brush is generally used for cutting in. Leave the first coat to dry for 4-6 hours, or just leave it as it is.
- Apply the 2nd coat the same way as the previous coat.
